The server was out yesterday due to some modem issues… apparently it wasn’t receiving enough power and shut down. Also, service was interrupted for about an hour today because of a DNS change… it should be back by now.

Armagetron Server Shutdown Pending [April Fools]

Well, I just got a cease-and-desist letter from Comcast saying that I can’t operate this server anymore due to bandwidth usage… wow am I mad. Anyway, it’s been a pleasure. This server is scheduled to shut down permanently tomorrow. I’m sad to do this, but Comcast will terminate my service if I disregard this warning. All that will be left are those fake iD servers other students create over the summer. Anyway, I scanned the letter and posted a video about it on YouTube… if you want to see it click here.

Tronic Ladle 19 Tomorrow

The standard server has been shut down because of the 19th Tronic Ladle tomorrow. Yeah, it stinks, but they need all the bandwidth they can get. It will start back up after the Ladle completes.

Armagetron Advanced Superpatch

Smoothice and I are working on a patch for Armagetron. We have figured out what we want in it. Right now, we know is that it’s going to be awesome and will include features that admins and players have been asking for quite a while. Obviously it is written in C++. Well, I’m trying to keep this project a secret, so that’s really all I can tell you now.

Back to school… and other stuff

I am back to school as of Monday. That means more homework and less time to update this blog, although I still will. Anyway, I enjoyed my break and will be skiing tomorrow.

In addition to that announcement, I would like to announce some relatively new features of internaldrive.info. First off, we have a forum at forum.internaldrive.info. Second, there is obviously this blog. Third, you can see the main site at www.internaldrive.info or just internaldrive.info. It will be updated soonish with a new style and some new features. If you want to look at the maps we have in use, just go to resource.internaldrive.info. The wiki will contain entries for the 70-something maps we hope to have rotating by the summer. Finally, there is pack.internaldrive.info, a vhost i created for the iD Tech Moviepack created by Puffyfluff.
